The Community Service Corps is a volunteer organization that was started and is led by LifeBridge Health employees with a passion for giving back to our surrounding communities. Service to our communities is instilled in the fabric of LifeBridge Health and they are aware that healthy and happy communities improve the overall health and wellness of the populations they serve. Because of this, they are reaching out to organizations that not only serve our populations, but also rely on them to operate.
In an attempt to connect LifeBridge Health employees with volunteer opportunities while raising awareness of our efforts, the LBH Community Service Corps is hosting a Community Service Fair this April at their three largest facilities; Sinai Hospital of Baltimore, Northwest Hospital and Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital. They are inviting local community service organizations, which provide support and resources to our communities, to come and promote the work that we do and recruit for volunteers that will support those initiatives.
The dates for the events are as follows:
- Sinai Hospital: April 14
- Northwest Hospital: April 27
- Levindale Hebrew Geriatric Center & Hospital: April 28
Each event will take place from 11am – 2pm.
If you are interested in hosting a table on any of these dates, please send an email with the following information to Community_Service@
-Organization’s contact person for this event
-A brief description of your organization’s mission and what population(s) you serve
-An overview of what type of volunteer work you would be recruiting
-Address, website, email and telephone
-We are encouraging groups to participate in all three dates but please indicate if you are not able to and which dates you are able to commit
We are asking that you let them know by March 2nd if you plan to attend any of the events.
