Team Conducts Back to School Blessing at Arlington Elementary Middle School

By Pastor Terrye Moore

Area pastors and ministers joined Arlington Elementary Middle School (EMS) staff on Friday, August 26, 2016 for a noonday school blessing. Prayer warriors went about the entire campus praying and anointing the school in preparation for the 2016-2017 school year. They sang as they went throughout the halls praying for Arlington’s needs and asking God to shed his favor upon everyone connected to the school and its environs. In addition, they asked that the needs of Arlington EMS be representative of the needs of schools all over the city, county, state and nation. The meeting ended with a prayer of thanksgiving as the team dedicated Arlington EMS to the glory of God.

The school blessing was sponsored by the Northwest Faith-Based Community Partnership (NWFBCP), a consortium of faith-based leaders within the northwest district of Baltimore City who are determined to see positive change in our neighborhoods. The NWFBCP meets monthly on 2nd Tuesdays at 6:30 PM at New Solid Rock Fellowship Church, 4003 W. Northern Parkway, Baltimore, MD 21215.
