Park Heights Renaissance (PHR) proudly unveils the 2025 George E. Mitchell Annual Fellowship Grant, a prestigious initiative dedicated to empowering visionary leaders and organizations committed to driving meaningful change in Park Heights and beyond.
This distinguished fellowship honors the enduring legacy of George E. Mitchell, a transformative leader and tireless advocate for social justice. With a generous award of $50,000, the grant will provide critical support to forward-thinking community leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers dedicated to developing impactful projects that address pressing social and economic challenges within the community.

Grantees must meet the following criteria for eligibility:
- Be Park Heights Community resident or involved in the community for at least five years.
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a member of or have sponsorship from a 501c(3) organization in good standing with the Maryland State Department of Assessments and Taxation at the time of application.
- Demonstrated support and track record of community commitment
Applications for the George E. Mitchell Annual Fellowship Grant will open on March 21, 2025, and must be submitted before April 7, 2025, at 11:59 PM ET. An information session will be held on March 25, 2025, providing interested applicants with guidance on the application process. The award recipient will be notified on April 15, 2025 and the winner will be announced on May 17, 2025 at the Black Eyed Susan Event during Preakness 150.
