Collective Impact

The mission of Park Heights Renaissance (PHR) is to serve as the community quarterback in advancing the Park Heights Master Plan through the collective impact model—aligning partners, resources, and strategies to drive measurable change. Using a holistic community development approach, PHR supports a thriving, sustainable, and equitable Park Heights by leading coordinated efforts across six cross-sector teams:

Community Wellness & Safety Collaborative

Connecting families to wellness resources, healing circles, healthcare access, violence reduction activities, and transforming open green spaces to build community trust and promote public safety.

Workforce Development Coalition

Helping residents access job training and employment, while supporting workforce partners that offer career readiness, certifications, case management services and long-term career pathways.

Education/Out-of-School Time Network

Supporting students and families through quality out-of-school time activities, that enhance academic success, attendance, parent engagement, and student wellness.

Developer’s Network

Coordinating strategic development that leverages funding, prioritizes community benefit, builds a qualified developers pool, maintains design standards, and supports long-term economic growth.

Community Leadership & Advocacy Council

Empowering residents to lead, advocate, and shape neighborhood decisions and improvement plans, including engaging in negotiations involving the $400M Pimlico Racecourse redevelopment.

Business & Main Streets Program

Managing Baltimore’s newest Main Street designation, strengthening local businesses and revitalizing business corridors to support economic opportunity and vibrant commercial spaces.

Through these interconnected networks, PHR fosters meaningful collaboration and long-term investment in the people and places of Park Heights.
