About Park Heights Renaissance
Park Heights Renaissance Inc. (PHR) is dedicated to empowering the 12 neighborhoods of the Park Heights Master Plan community to improve quality of life outcomes including improving access to diverse and equitable housing, high performing schools, safe and diverse public spaces, thriving retail businesses, employment opportunities, healthcare and healthy families, and a clean environment.
Park Heights is the home of a diverse and exciting community of over 20,000 residents and encompasses 12 neighborhoods and 1500 acres. We are a bold and proud community that is rich in assets: Brand new 21st century schools; multiple health institutions; active community leaders; dedicated community service providers; strong homeowners; accessible transit lines and a full service MVA site; strong faith-based institutions; recreational facilities including world-class Callow Hill aquatic center; Sankofa African Children’s Museum; an Urban Agriculture and Farm Program; and it is also the proud home of the Preakness races.
Park Heights is a strong and resilient community that continues to grow despite a history of disinvestment. PHR is leading an effort to heal the past by establishing a new culture of funding and development practices that are transformative, restorative, equitable, and inclusive. We work collaboratively with the community to ensure that all residents can Generate Economic Opportunities, Eliminate Barriers to Affordable Housing and Homeownership, Increase Community Engagement, Market the Community, and Thrive in Park Heights.
