This year, PHR is excited to be participating in the Home Visiting Workforce Development program, a new innovative approach to providing a holistic workforce training program specifically designed for HIPPY parents to learn the knowledge and skills necessary to become a home visitor. The program provides 7-8 hours of job-readiness training per month, as well as stipends, laptops, and other barrier removals for participants. Working with The Family League of Baltimore, PHR will be recruiting 4-5 parents to participate in this pilot which will be running for six months starting in June 2023.
If you would like more information about how to support your youngest learners at home or participate in the pilot, please contact the PHR Education Office at (410) 644-4890 (ext 121) or aweems@phrmd.org
